A feast of queer film
The Sydney Film Festival kicks off next week with a feast of queer themes on offer. Highlights include Eye, a documentary about Indigenous photographer Bindi Cole’s journey to far north Australia to document the beautiful transgender Sistergirls of the Tiwi Islands, and Mind, a profile of award-winning writer Tom Cho, who knew from an early age he didn’t match his mother’s expectations of a good daughter.
