Arq heads to school

The drag industry’s awesome foursome -” Minnie Cooper, Mitzi Macintosh, Charisma Belle and Tora Hymen -” are set to star in the new mega production Arq-Ademic this Thursday 25 September.

Kitty Glitter is taking a break from Arq’s stage to invest more time in her in-demand DJ career -” but she will still be spinning plenty of beats at Arq every Thursday night.

The new weekly show will take High School Musical to the next level with a camp twist.

I always like to work with the best -” the stronger the talent in the show, the better the outcome, Minnie Cooper told Sydney Star Observer.

The show will take you to life in the playground, on the football field, and also what happens to most people when they leave school.

I think Charisma grew up to be a lady of the night -” that’s the word around town.

This DIVA-winning cast will also push the boundaries of drag tradition with the addition of male characters.

The great thing about drag is it can be anything you want it to be, Cooper said.

Chuck Cooper [Minnie’s male persona] is the gayest kid in town, but apparently has only one nut. As for Muttley Macintosh [Mitzi’s male persona], he is the star football player at school and he’s such a ladies’ man.

info: Arq-Ademic will appear at Arq every Thursday night. Doors open at 9pm. For more details log onto arqsydney.com.au.
