Bondi Drag Race revs up
Bondi Beach will be transformed into a drag colosseum for Mardi Gras, with Sydney’s most competitive drag kings and queens taken out of their nightclubs and onto the scorching sand to battle it out for your entertainment.
Applications to participate are already open for the event, which will be hosted by Vanessa Wagner.
This year the arena will double in size, to create an amphitheatre for the action to take place. The competition will include activities ranging from the Dainty Dune Dash to the hugely competitive Handbag Discus.
“This is one of our truly iconic events, and we’re thrilled to be able to produce these free activities as part of Mardi Gras,” said New Mardi Gras CEO, Michael Rolik.
