Pamela Rabe directs a big-name cast headed by Jacqueline McKenzie in Sarah Ruhl’s acclaimed Broadway comedy In the Next Room (or The Vibrator Play) at the MTC in April.

A comedy about sexual discovery, the play is a meditation on marriage, the need for intimacy, and secret desires. Set at the dawn of the electrical age, In the Next Room centres on a doctor and his wife and how his experimental therapy affects their entire household.

In the Next Room (or The Vibrator Play) opens Monday, April 11 at the Sumner Theatre in the MTC Theatre building.
