Festival starts with big bang

The 21st Melbourne Queer Film Festival will open on Thursday, March 17 with Kaboom, helmed by famed queer film director Gregg Araki (The Doom Generation, The Living End, Mysterious Skin).

A sci-fi film centered on the sexual awakening of a group of college students, it stars Heroes and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles’ Thomas Dekker.
