Leibovitz under the lens
The Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA) have announced an exhibition showcasing famous celebrity photographer Annie Leibovitz. Annie Leibovitz: A Photographer’s Life 1990-2005 will open at the gallery in November and run until March next year.
It’s the first time the US photographer has been the subject of a solo exhibition in Australia.
MCA director Elizabeth Ann Macgregor said that the exhibition would offer Australians “a rare opportunity to see a world-renowned collection of images, from famous public figures to intimate family portraits”.
