Sydney photographer Steven Cavanagh will exhibit his new collection of photos, Masculine Bodies in Space, at the National Art School this month. Cavanagh investigates how men interact and -˜perform’ masculinity through body language, communicating needs and desires to both women and men who -˜know the rules’. His candid images capture subconscious displays of masculine behaviour, revealing through gesture how men inhabit public spaces.

info: Steven Cavanagh’s Masculine Bodies in Space is
on at the National Art School, Forbes St, East Sydney
from June 23-26.
