Nickelodeon to show first gay couple

IN a scene that would make any kid cringe, Nickelodeon has introduced its first gay couple in a show.

The Loud House, a show about Lincoln Loud and his life living in a house as the only boy with his ten sisters debuted in May.

In an episode that has just aired in some parts of United States introduced the biracial married gay dads of his friend in an episode.

Lincoln’s friend, Clyde McBride, is dropped off at the Loud house by his two, overprotective dads.

Clyde’s dads, Howard (Michael McDonald) and Harold (Wayne Brady) load Lincoln up with everything Clyde needs to get through the night including; a white noise machine, his inhaler, humidifier, dehumidifier, inhaler, a family photo and phone numbers of where they will be including the gas station, “in case they need to stop to pee”.

“Remember, Clyde, no nuts, no gluten, no sugar and be careful with orange juice,” Harold says to Clyde in the heartwarming scene.

“You know how you get with pulp.”

Howard has to be dragged away in tears, lamenting how fast his boy is growing up, in a scene that will make LGBTI viewers beam with pride.

Nickelodeon shows have had some LGBTI representation in the past: RuPaul appeared in an episode of Bubble Guppies last year, and Legend of Korra ended with the main character kissing her female best friend.
