Out, damned spot!

Bell Shakespeare company has announced its 2012 season and Macbeth fans are sure to be pleased. Director Peter Evans brings the tale of murder, power and seduction to the stage with Kate Mulvany as Lady Macbeth.

The company will also join forces with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra for a performance of Romeo And Juliet set to the music of Tchaikovsky, Delius and Prokofiev.

The season will also feature John Webster’s The Duchess of Malfi, and French playwright Molière’s The School For Wives.
