Please Like Me gets fourth season
ABC and U.S. network Pivot have announced a fourth season for their LGBT-themed comedy Please Like Me.
The future of the popular Josh Thomas series had been left in doubt since the third season finished last December, with no news given on a potential renewal. But much to the relief of fans all over the world, the two broadcasters both took to their Twitter feeds to bring the much anticipated news.
Filming will commence over the next five weeks with all the key players of the Please Like Me cast expected to make their triumphant returns.
The fourth season will consist of six instalments.
Josh Thomas will expand his directing duties, taking on half of the episodes. Long time collaborator Matthew Saville will direct the rest.
Please Like Me is set to air later in the year.
