A new Australia-made film tackling same-sex marriage and adoption is set to hit Australian cinema screens next year.

The Dream Children, starring Graeme Squires (Home and Away and Cops:LAC) and directed by Robert Chuter follows the life of a closeted TV personality and his partner who struggle with newly found parenthood and a series of life hiccups along the way.

The film — shot entirely in Melbourne around St Kilda and Elwood – is currently doing the rounds in Europe to build interest before heading home.
