Stars record Orlando shooting charity single

SOME of Broadway and Hollywood’s biggest stars have joined forces to record a cover of Burt Bacharach’s classic What The World Needs Now in in support of the victims in the Orlando shooting massacre that took place at Pulse nightclub on June 12.

The song was recorded on June 15 – just three days after the tragic incident. Stars singing on the track include Frozen’s Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel, Matthew Broderick and Sarah Jessica Parker, Nathan Lane, Bernadette Peters, Fran Drescher, Whoopi Goldberg, Gloria Estefan and Sean Hayes.

All proceeds from the single will go to the LGBT Centre of Central Florida.
