LAUGH, LOVE, SMILE & CRY AT THE ALLIANCE FRANÇAISE FRENCH FILM FESTIVAL

COME along to celebrate the best of contemporary French Cinema from March 1 to 24.

Following the overwhelming success of its 2015 season, the Alliance Française French Film Festival will return early March, 2016, with an exceptional array of contemporary French cinema to be fêted.

For its 27th season, the Festival is ready to mesmerise with a dazzling line-up of 48 superb features, one timeless classic and a fabulous new programme strand that will showcase five smash-hit French television series.

An impressive line-up supported by four Australian cinema personalities: the director George Miller, the esteemed film critic David Stratton and the actors Marta Dusseldorp and Benjamin Winspear.

Highlights of the 2016 programme include director Jacques Audiard’s 2015 Palme d’Or winning masterpiece Dheepan, as well as A Perfect Man, Mon Roi, La Belle Saison, The Anarchists, Boomerang and Valley of Love.

  • Ménage à Trois – All About Them

Wednesday 2 March, Chauvel Cinema, 6.30pm Function / 7.00pm Screening
