Pooch competition. Plenty of prizes to be won
EAST Village in Sydney’s inner-city suburb of Zetland is hosting a fancy dress competition for dogs from February 20 to March 8.
East Village, located in Victoria Park, Zetland, is also providing free water giveaways, as well as party bag giveaways.
The competition was inspired by East Village noticing local residents’ passion for their dogs, and the winner will win clothing from Clever Ain’t Wise.
Those who want to enter the competition have to take a photo of their dressed-up dogs and post it on social media using the hash tags #sydneymardigras and #eastvillagevp from February 20 to March 8 2015.
East Village will also be giving rainbow-coloured recovery bags which contain bacon, eggs, bread, Berocca, Party Feet, glow sticks, OPI glitter nail polish, fake lashes, and water.
The East Village store will be giving these kits to customers who spend $30 or more at their store between March 6–8.
The kits can be found at the front of the stage outside Coles.
