Pop-up gay bar dedicated to Kylie Minogue returns

Pop-up gay bar dedicated to Kylie Minogue returns

A BIG hit during Midsumma this year, Bar Kylie is popping up again for its third Melbourne instalment south of the river and – for the first time – Sydney’s iconic Imperial Hotel.

The third instalment of the pop-up bar has a Spring Fling theme, and organisers have said 10 per cent of profits will be donated to community charities.

Playing naught but La Minogue – the hits, the misses and the obscure, with a little Dannii thrown in for good measure – Bar Kylie is your one stop on Australia’s princess of pop tour.

Resident DJ – and Kylie-crazed fan – Argonaut will again be behind the (glittered) decks pumping out hours of Kylie songs.

Expect gold glitter, enormous Kylie posters, Kylie posers and an incredible midnight show.

Come dressed in feathers or leathers, gold hot pants, silver jeggings or jeans from Jay Jays – it doesn’t matter.
