Xelle – “girl” band with a twist

Xelle1

Xelle is the newest girlband on the block – the only thing is, one of the lovely ladies isn’t actually a girl.

The glamorous trio is comprised of sexy divas JC Cassis, Rony Goffer and Mimi Imfurst.

If that last name rings a bell, it’s probably due to her participation in season three of RuPaul’s Drag Race, making Xelle the world’s first girl/drag band – at least that we’re aware of.

Happily, there is more to these ladies than a gimmick.

Their debut single Party Girl, which was written and produced by Zach Adams, is extremely catchy in a Ke$ha meets Gaga kind of way and Mimi’s rap is first rate!

Check out Xelle’s equally memorable video clip – filmed guerilla style in a New York subway car – below.
