George Michael returns to Oz

George Michael will return to Australia in March and April 2012, when his Symphonica: The Orchestral Tour travels to arenas in Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, and Brisbane and to outdoor winery settings in Perth’s Swan Valley and the Hunter Valley in New South Wales.

Symphonica, which is currently playing to audiences on a huge 64 date European tour, sees Michael performing alongside a full orchestra. He performs a selection of his own material spanning his near 30-year career and also covers some of his favourite songs from other artists.

The tour commenced in Prague in August and has been critically acclaimed throughout Europe.

Michael was in Australia in early 2010, where he played sold out stadium shows after an absence of close to 22 years. Over 115,000 Australian fans came out to see his show.
