Taking marriage message to Town Hall

Taking marriage message to Town Hall

DJ and flash mob maestro Dan Murphy is teaming with GetUp this Sunday September 25 to shoot a large-scale video in support of marriage equality at Sydney Town Hall – and they need your help to make it a success.

Without giving the surprise away, the idea is to fill the ground floor of Sydney Town Hall with hundreds of supporters of marriage equality. Participants will work together to represent visually how the statistics in support of same-sex marriage have increased over time.

All ages and backgrounds are welcome. If you can come, RSVP at the link below then show up in casual, comfortable clothes that you can move around in. There will be a short break and refreshments but try to have something to eat before and bring snacks if you’re going to be hungry. You won’t be doing anything physically demanding or difficult, and may be done pretty quickly, but arrive by 1pm and leave three hours free in your afternoon as you should finish by 4pm at the latest.

2DayFM’s Geoff Field, YouTube star Natalie Tran, Mia Freedman, Farmer Dave Graham, Geoff Thomas, Julie McCrossin and Carl Katter will also be along for the ride.
