In this week’s installment of the University of Sydney Union’s Tuesday Talk series, a panel of speakers will discuss issues surrounding the involvement of LGBTI people in the often homophobic arena of sports and athletics. Making up the panel are comedian Tom Ballard, Sydney Convicts club president Charlie Winn and Shari Wakefield of Sydney Uni Sport and Fitness. There will be an opportunity for questions from the audience, and a door prize will be drawn at the conclusion of the event – Sydney Uni Sport and Fitness are offering a major prize of a semester pass membership to one member of the audience. From 1pm, Tuesday August 3, at the University of Sydney’s Manning Bar.
