Dapto Leagues Club will host a night of dancing and drag on Friday November 5 to raise money for Australian kids with HIV charity Camp Goodtime.

Organisers of the Doing It For The Kids charity night promise an entertainment extravaganza featuring Wollongong drag identities including Dee Lemar, Melicious Dámage, Karavan Park, Victoria Vogue, Kristi Kremes, Stella Munroe, Mariah Kenny, Liza Meninghi and Drag on Fly.

There will be auctions and raffles on the night with a special guest compare and auctioneer yet to be revealed.

Founded in 1990, Camp Goodtime is the national camp for children with HIV/AIDS and their families.

Camp Goodtime’s aims are to facilitate communication among families coping with HIV, reduce their isolation, provide a recreational and therapeutic environment where children and parents can share experiences with others in similar circumstances, and provide a venue where information about medical, social and other aspects of HIV can be shared and ways of coping with the virus learned.

Dapto Leagues Club is at the corner of Bong Bong Road and Station St, across the road from Dapto railway station.

info: Tickets are $20 each and available from Heidi or Liz on 0431 591 779. The event starts at 7pm.
