New Mardi Gras members will benefit from a major promotion by a group of Darlinghurst retailers.
Soleil Tanning, Aussie Boys, Daly Male, Go Vita/NSW Body Building Supplies and Betty’s Soup Kitchen on Oxford St and Bang Clothing on Flinders St will all be offering NMG members a 20 percent discount on purchases until February 14.
In addition City Gym on Crown Street will be offering a 20 percent discount off any new annual full price membership and Corkscrew Cellars is offering 10 percent off purchases.
It’s a great opportunity to get out and prepare yourself for the 2009 Mardi Gras -“ from detoxing to kitting yourself out for the dancefloor, NMG chair David Imrie said.
We are delighted that these companies have put this scheme together and I’m sure a lot of our members will respond to the promotion.
NMG membership entitles members to discounts on many festival events, the opportunity to purchase tickets for the Parade VIP viewing area at Taylor Square, discounts to other events through the year including Sleaze Ball and Homesexual, as well as voting rights for the NMG AGM and Board elections.
Becoming a NMG member makes huge sense these days, Imrie said. If you buy two tickets to Mardi Gras Party and a ticket to Harbour Party you save $50 as a NMG member. Membership only costs $45. If you attend Sleaze Ball or any of the fifty or so festival events which feature a member discount then you’re making significant savings, as well as showing your support for a key community organisation.
