Red Ribbon actors wanted
Actors and extras of all backgrounds are needed for a Red Ribbon television and cinema campaign in the lead-up to World AIDS Day.
The AIDS Trust has arranged to show the public service announcements on high rotation in November and December.
Foxtel is sponsoring the public service announcement’s production, but many additional people are volunteering their time and equipment to the cause.
The producers are looking for people to play older and younger characters, from the probably gay to the probably not, of all ethnic backgrounds.
A casting call will be held tomorrow from 9.30am at The Acting Pulse theatre school, level 2, 103 Regent St, Redfern, for the final shoot on 22 and 25 August.
Volunteers need to be aware that viewers could assume they’re gay or have HIV, or be related to someone who is.
