Tina Turnon fundraiser
New Sydney drag identity Ms Tina Turnon will make her stage debut this Saturday night at Slide to raise money for Ankali and ACON.
Guests at the free 10pm event will be asked to make a donation to help support the two gay and lesbian organisations. The suggested donation is $10.
The Ankali Project was set up to provide emotional and social support to people living with HIV/AIDS. Their trained volunteers are responsible for maintaining the well being of clients, ensuring they have someone to talk to in times of uncertainty, and someone to share social activities, just ordinary, everyday things.
