The AIDS Trust of Australia still needs extras for its new national television campaign for World AIDS Day on 1 December.

The public service announcements on TV, magazines and online will focus on the impact HIV has on family and friends, AIDS Trust CEO Nick Toonen revealed.

The campaign asks people to buy red ribbons locally or to donate through the AIDS Trust website.

But they’re still looking for several real life people affected by HIV/AIDS to feature in the print component. The volunteers need to based in Sydney who have a range of experiences, backgrounds and ethnicities.

  1. How Sydney centric of the AIDS Trust, there are many people living outside Sydney who have been involved with and affected by HIV. I am sure with a liitle effort and very little cost persons outside the Sydney area could give some time and effort for the AIDS trust, but once again it appears that Sydney is the worlds capital.
