Politicians announced for Mardi Gras Q&A

New Mardi Gras (NMG) have announced the politicians set to appear at the inaugural Politicians Say Something event.

Five state politicians will be present as part of this panel discussion, which gives attendees the opportunity to hear from their representatives and discuss the issues of importance to the community.

The evening takes place one month before the state election, and questions can be submitted before the event.

The politicians include Independent Sydney MP Clover Moore, the National Party’s Trevor Khan MLC, the Liberal Party’s Don Harwin, Greens member Cate Faehrmann and Labor MP Verity Firth from the electorate of Balmain.

“We’re very pleased that this new event gives our community the opportunity to interact directly with their political representatives and policy makers,” said NMG co-chair, Peter Urmson.

“We have members of each major party joining us, with more to be announced in the coming days. Start thinking of your questions now, this is sure to be an interesting evening of debate and discussion.”

Politicians Say Something will be held at the Sydney Masonic Centre on Thursday, February 24.
