Adam Lambert is lead Queen

ADAM Lambert has scored his dream gig as the guest front man of Queen during select few of the rock band’s USA and Canadian tour.

Lambert recently made the announcement on TV via Good Morning America after he was personally selected to take the role of the legendary Freddie Mercury, who was openly-gay like Lambert, by two of the band’s surviving members Brian May and Roger Taylor.

“The point is not for Adam to emulate Freddie,” the Queen members said.

“We want to push boundaries and keep evolving as a band.”

They reiterated that the chemistry they had with Lambert since they preformed with him on American Idol back in 2009 for his final song that saw him finish second, has remained strong.

The tour begins June 19 in Chicago and will then travel to New York, Los Angeles, Dallas, Vancouver, Montreal, and Las Vegas.
