Chris Martin on One Direction and Spider-man
AFTER splitting from wife Gwyneth Paltrow, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin has been sending the media mixed messages with some of his latest public appearances.
In a recent interview on BBC Radio 1 in the UK, Martin spoke of his sexual-orientation questioning after meeting with One Direction band member Harry Styles.
“I was like this, ‘I was pretty sure I was a straight guy before’,” Martin laughed.
“I was having a hot flush.”
Afterwards, Martin appeared on American TV show Saturday Night Live, where he donned a blonde wig and kissed Amazing Spider Man actor Andrew Garfield.
The kiss was done for a comedy sketch in which real-life girlfriend of Garfield, Emma Stone, who also plays Spider Man’s on-screen girlfriend Gwen Stacy, has trouble with a ‘romantic scene’ with Spider Man.
Martin saves the scene by stepping into the role of Gwen Stacy to finish the scene, much to Garfield’s protest.
