Gaga overtakes Oprah

Lady Gaga has done the seemingly impossible by replacing Oprah Winfrey as Forbes Magazine’s most powerful person in entertainment.

While the world’s most famous talkshow host earned more than triple the $90 million Mother Monster netted last yea

r, Gaga came into her own thanks to her enormous social networking prowess and following.

The Born This Way singer reigned supreme on the all important “Web” and “Social” rank – thanks in no small part to her incredibly loyal and protective monsters.

“Gaga is there not just because of the $90 million she earned with a monster tour,” explained Forbes.

“But also because of her 32 million Facebook fans and 10 million Twitter followers — aka Little Monsters — who helped move 1 million digital downloads of her recent single Born This Way in only five days,” the article continued.

“They’re also happy to buy the MAC makeup, Monster headphones and Virgin Mobile phones she features in her videos.”

Other high profile pop acts to feature on the list are Justin Bieber, Elton John, Bon Jovi, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift and Beyoncé.
