Gaga sends applause to Oz
Promoting her latest single ‘Applause’ on American morning TV show Good Morning America, Lady Gaga took an interesting approach to the performance, doing it via satellite from the Land of Oz and joined by many of the characters from the 1939 Judy Garland classic.
“I think it really is an explanation for my entire career so far,” she said in an interview following the performance. “It’s my way of saying that all the outfits and wigs…this is my way of simulating and surviving and my way of getting to Oz and having all my dreams come true.”
