How do you respond to an anti-gay Facebook user? Here's an easy-to-follow lesson from a Canadian radio host.
A CANADIAN radio host known as Ryder from the Hot 107 station in Edmonton has taken a comical approach to responding to a homophobic Facebook comment regarding a segment on his show about gay pride parades.
The comment read: “Just heard some CRAP on your show about how gays have better parades and eyebrows????? What the fuck man? If I ever hear you talk about pro homo bullshit again I wont ever listen to your radio station again. I’ll be telling your bosses this too.”
Ryder (pictured above) responded with a picture of two topless men kissing.
Enraging the homophobe, the exchange that followed made for some entertaining reading.
At the time of print, the post on the radio host’s Facebook page had garnered close to 200 comments, over 27000 likes and 400 shares.
Ryder later commented that he was not ashamed that he “lost a listener”, and that it was “totally worth it”.
