FORMER child actor turned go-go dancer Blake McIver is now breaking into the music world by releasing his first album The Time Manipulator on iTunes.
McIver, who gained fame in TV show Full House and the movie Little Rascals, recently made headlines when he came out as gay and working as a go-go dancer in Los Angeles.
The sudden interest in McIver’s career was sparked by gay media around the globe when his Instagram account started featuring revealing pictures of him working as dancer.
Recently recognising his passion for singing and songwriting, McIver has now launched his music career.
According to his YouTube channel, he dedicated his song It Gets Better and its video clip to those who are living with hopelessness.
“We’ve already lost too many to the darkness, to the hate, and to the closed-mindedness. Although it doesn’t always seem it, love is more powerful than hate. Remember, you are a miracle in spite of what they say,” he said.
