Juice detox just the remedy

I have always been keen to try a juice detox, mainly because they seem to be a diet technique popular with celebrities. However, buying all the ingredients and making the juices seemed very time-consuming and a lot of effort.
Luckily, Urban Remedy offers a convenient detox service, ranging from one to five days. They deliver the juices ready-made direct to your door in cute little cool bags.
The detox consists of six juices which you can drink up to every two hours, and also allows for as much herbal tea and water as you like.
I opted for a three-day detox, something which my body desperately needed. While the thought of nothing but liquids for three days at first seemed daunting, it surprisingly didn’t leave me famished.
The juices provide everything your body needs to survive and all the antioxidants to cleanse and renew your body.
I admit most juices were quite squeamish and the green ones had me holding my nose while drinking. However, two of the juices were fairly tasty. Juice six was my favourite due to its likeness to a cinnamon coconut milkshake. Luckily the detox allows you to drink this throughout the day if you’re feeling hungry, so it allowed the not-so-nice juices to be finished with something sweet, something which I took to on the final day.
The detox was hard, and I would recommend it to be done in a week when you don’t have a busy social calendar. Having to go out with your juice bags is both a little inappropriate and fairly inconvenient. I freed up my calendar while detoxing to avoid temptation.
The detox didn’t leave me feeling hungry, however, it doesn’t give you the same satisfaction as eating a meal. It does rejuvenate your system and clear up your skin.
Overall I enjoyed the detox, minus the green juices. My body felt refreshed, and I would definitely do another cleanse in six months time to boost the effects.
