Montreal looks for Queer of the Year

For the third year running, Montreal, Quebec in Canada is looking for the Queer of the Year in a competition hosted by Tourism Montreal and Montreal Pride Week, which runs August 13–19.

Five finalists will be flown to LGBT-loving Montreal for an all expenses paid week of challenges, adventure and high performance fun.

Get your entry in before July 20 via the Queer of the Year Facebook page and tell the world why you are worthy of the crown.

Five fabulous and fierce finalists will be chosen and flown to Montreal with Air Canada for Montreal Pride Week and rest their precious heads on the fluffy pillows at Hotel Le Germain Montreal before the week-long games begin.

The Queer of the Year vote will be put to the public ensuring the finalists are pressed, primped and perspiring 24/7.

Five ‘social experiment’ challenges based on personality, talent, healthy lifestyle, community spirit and sex appeal will be filmed and captured in short provocative videos that will be posted for the public to view and contestants to share amongst the social media community to encourage votes.

The public crowned Queer of the Year will pocket CAD$5000 cash and a future trip to return to Montreal at their leisure.

The contest is open to anyone who has reached legal age in Australia at the time of entering.
