Don’t forget gay Catholic group Acceptance is hosting a special forum on sexuality during World Youth Day.

The forum, Is there a place for gay and lesbian Catholic youth in the Church?, has been the subject of controversy after World Youth Day organisers pressured a number of Catholic venues to not allow the forum to take place on church land.

As a result, the forum will be held at the University of Technology (UTS) this Wednesday, July 16, from 6.30pm. If you would like more details visit www.GayCatholicYouthForum.org.

In addition, Acceptance will be holding a World Youth Day Welcoming Mass this Friday, July 18, at St Joseph’s Catholic Church, Bedford St, Newtown, from 8pm.
