If you cant agree on foreign civil unionship/marriages, what are you going to say about gay adoption etc.... Looks like Australia is still in caveman years. Ps. It may be that Penny is looking out for her own political survival. Nonetheless it is shameful to have a gay politician who fails to deliver on our behalf. Of course, different-sex couples' relationships will be recognised in Australia for what they are. It's only the same-sex couples we want to discriminate against.
