The Marriage Act 1961 should also recognize transsexual/transgender people as well, that will be a good start that Labor promised as well [but no promises to allow gay marriage from Kevin]!!!!!

John Howard, before the 2007 election, said that “if you change the government, you change the country”. Thank frigging goodness, he was right :)

Well done Stefanie, you’re a champ! Effecting positive change in a historically deflective lumbering bureaucracy which marches to the beat of the incumbent government is no small feat.

The federal Coalition must clarify if the inhumane Howard-era policy to which the article refers, and which unacceptably put the wellbeing of trans Australians at risk, will be reintroduced if they win government.

Well done! It is amazing what can be changed when you take a stand and congratulations to you because you are brave enough to take on the world. I have come across your work in the past, an article on discrimination in the workplace and used it in an arguement oppossing discrimination.
