Author and academic Dennis Altman will deliver the 19th annual Keith Harbour Address at the Victorian AIDS Council/Gay Men’s Health Centre annual general meeting this weekend.

The address — ‘Lest we forget: why our history matters’ — will be given at the Positive Living Centre, South Yarra on Sunday, October 23 at 1.30pm.

Next year is the 40th anniversary of Altman’s groundbreaking book Homosexual: Oppression and Liberation, one of the seminal texts of the gay liberation movement.
