Mature Age Gays (MAG),  Australia’s largest gay organisation,  will celebrate its 18th anniversary this Saturday, September 26.
Celebrating the milestone with ‘A Masked Ball’ theme, the party will be held at ACON with a buffet supper and cake.
“Everyone is invited to come with a mask. We want to make it festive and fun,” MAG founder Steve Ostrow told Sydney Star Observer.
“All MAGs, including their family and friends, are weclome and I think it’s an important event for all to attend.”
Providing a peer support, social and educational group for men over 40, the group also meets on the second and last Saturday of each month at ACON from 6.30pm.
“We cater to the entire needs of the MAG person,” Ostrow said. “You never have to join MAG, you just have to come down to a meeting. People feel like family when they come and that’s what made it’s so successful.”
