Acceptance cheques in

Share |

The gay Catholic group, Acceptance, presented a cheque for $1,400 to a committee member from Stanford House.

The money raised from Acceptance’s Mardi Gras trivia night held earlier this year has been put towards Stanford House, a charity organisation which provides supported accommodation for people with HIV/AIDS.

In accepting the cheque at a hand-over ceremony held after Friday Mass at St Joseph’s Church in Newtown, the Stanford House representative, who asked to be identified only as Ben, thanked Acceptance for their ongoing assistance.

For more information on the work done by Acceptance and to find out more about their public and private church services, head to www.gaycatholic.com.au.
