De-Lovely

Share |

De-Lovely is a film based on the life of Cole Porter, which manages to deal with Porter’s well-known homosexuality despite its PG rating.

Although US reviews of the film have been mixed (ranging from CNN’s wonderful to the Los Angeles Times’s de-lousy) it has been commended for the open way it tackles Porter’s extra-marital affairs.

It also has a fabulous soundtrack featuring Elvis Costello, Alanis Morissette and Robbie Williams (among others) performing Porter’s best-loved songs.

The Star has 10 doubles passes to a special preview screening of De-Lovely on Sunday 31 October. Be one of the first readers to email comps@ssonet.com.au to pick one up.
