Share |

Ross Watson’s portrait of Collingwood AFL footballer Brodie Holland is part of the Spirit Of Football exhibition currently showing at Federation Square in Melbourne.

The portrait, which sold for $20,000, has been chosen as the publicity image for the National Gallery of Victoria exhibition. Watson has also produced a limited edition of 45 numbered prints which are on sale for $450 through his website, www.rosswatson.com. Full proceeds from the print sales will be donated to the Gay and Lesbian Switchboard.

Stay tuned for more football fantasy from Watson -“ he is currently painting Holland’s team-mate Paul Licuria with no shorts on.
