Thursdays is now retro night at lesbian-owned Libation bar in Fitzroy. Open seven nights a week, Libation has been a queer drinking hole for the last three years, with the popular Sunday afternoon/evening ‘It’s a Girl Thing’ for lesbian and bi women and friends.

Thursdays will now be all about pumping out the hits of the ’70s, ’80s and ’90s with $5 Blonde beer and bubbles so the crowds aren’t kept thirsty.

The bar also offers coffee and free wi-fi for those lucky enough to have time to sit and watch busy Brunswick St go by.
