Unbiased Bowling is a lawn bowls club open to all, regardless of age, race, gender, sexuality or level of experience.
The group is holding a fun day of lawn bowls on the Queen’s Birthday weekend, with the event cannily termed ‘Queens’ Bowlsday’ (who could resist). From 1pm on Sunday June 13, players can enjoy three hours of friendly games, plus a beer or two while they play.
After the games there’ll be music, entertainment and a meat raffle — and it’s only $10 to play, equipment hire included. There will be coaching available on the day for total novices.
For further information or to register to play, contact Stuart Pullen on 0423 354 940 or Peter Manson on 0402 870 140.
If you can’t make it on the day, there are still plenty of opportunities to get involved in Unbiased Bowling: the club plays a social game every Sunday at 1pm at Marrickville Bowling and Recreation Club, and regularly participates in more formal games as part of the wider Marrickville club.
