
Burning down the house
The Gallery of Modern Art (GoMA) in Brisbane is screening the iconic queer documentary Paris is Burning as a part of its season of films celebrating dance culture.
The documentary tells the story of the 1980s ball culture within the gay African-American and Latino community in New York – the dance culture that gave birth to Vogue.
Tickets are $10.50 and $8.50 concession, and are available through QTix. It will screen on November 10 at 3.15pm.
