ARIA confirms more performers

There’s less than a week until the Australian music industry gather at Allphones Arena, Sydney Olympic Park, for the 2011 ARIA Awards, and the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) yesterday announced more performers and presenters for the event.

Along with the induction of Kylie Minogue into the ARIA Hall of Fame, viewers and attendees can expect performances by Gotye and Kimbra (the first time they’ve performed their hit Somebody That I Used to Know on television), Boy & Bear, The Living End and Guy Sebastian.

Missy Higgins will be returning from America – where she has been mixing her new album – to perform with Gurrumul. She’ll be presenting the coveted Single of the Year and Album of the Year awards as well.

Also confirmed to present on the night are Hamish and Andy, Ricki-Lee Coulter, Molly Meldrum, and the hosts of triple j’s breakfast program, Tom Ballard and Alex Dyson.

The ARIAs will screen on GO! from 7.30pm on Sunday, November 27.
