Beyoncé runs the world for Oprah

A day after delivering what is being hailed as one of the best live performances of all time at the 2011 Billboard Awards, Beyoncé returned to sing Run The World (Girls) in front of 13,000 fans on Oprah’s highly publicised farewell episode.

The superstar delivered another brilliant rendition of her love-it-or-hate-it female empowerment anthem, which continues its steady rise on iTunes after initially being written off by many as a Not Myself Tonight sized flop.

Bey began the performance by declaring “Oprah, we can run the world!” before busting out the superhuman choreography that left viewers stunned at the Billboard Awards.

The highlight was definitely when the diva handed out diplomas to her female dancers in a mock all-girl graduation ceremony – to the delight of Oprah and celebrity guests like Tom Cruise.

After delivering two killer performances at high profile events, Beyoncé’s 4 campaign appears to be back on track.

Is Run The World (Girls) the ultimate grower or should Mrs Carter move on to single number two?
