Britney reveals new album cover

Britney jumped on Twitter earlier this morning to show her followers the cover of her hotly anticipated seventh studio album Femme Fatale.

The pop star boldly claimed that it’s her “best album to date” and thanked fans for their support.

“This album is for you, my fans, who have always supported me and have stuck by me every step of the way!” she tweeted. “I love you all!”

And they seem to love her and the cover (below) just as much if their replies are any indication.

The artwork is very simple with a face pic against a white background but at least it’s an improvement on the covers of In The Zone and Blackout.

Interestingly, given the album’s mid-March release date, executive producer Dr Luke recently told Rolling Stone that Femme Fatale isn’t finished yet.

“We’re in the middle of it right now,” he revealed.

“We’re working with a lot of producers and overseeing it with her A&R and record label and management and trying to make something cohesive.”

They had better get a move on!

While we wait, why not listen to the album’s lead single Hold It Against Me (below) – again.

  1. HORRIBLE COVER! There was a poll on the fansite and 80% of votes said they will not be buying the album for such a cheap album cover. She is going to fail at this rate!

  2. OMG, THAT COVER IS HORRIBLE! NO EFFORT PUT IN! I will NOT be buying the album with that cover. I’ll get a friend to copy it!
