Britney talks Femme Fatale

Britney talks Femme Fatale

After keeping silent about her forthcoming seventh studio album for months, Britney Spears has finally opened up about Femme Fatale to V Magazine.

The increasingly secretive diva describes the opus as a club record and considers it her edgiest work yet.

“I wanted to make a fierce dance record where each song makes you want to get up and move your body in a different way,” Brit told the interviewer.

“This record is for the clubs, or something you play before you go out at night – it’s definitely my edgiest and most mature sound yet.”

In fact, Britney went as far as saying: “I think it’s the best album I have ever made.”

V magazine also addressed the lack of promotion surrounding the album campaign in comparison to other hitmakers like Lady Gaga and Rihanna.

The 29-year-old admitted that she is becoming more guarded with age.

“I think it’s easier to let people in when you’re younger, but when I became a mother, I wanted more privacy for myself and my children – A life away from my life.”

Are you still excited about Femme Fatale or was Hold It Against Me (below) too much of a turn off?

  1. I personally am very excited.

It’s about time that one of the pop Divas’ returned and showed what they can do. Not only has she remained Humble (unlike some other artists….Lady gaga, that’s you)she has stayed true to her musical style whilst also evolving with the times.

Much like Madonna, Cher and our own Kylie. Adapting a sound that is clearly their own to suit each new album and generation.

Snippets of Brinteys’ new album have been teasing us with excitement every few days. And this album is shapping up to be an amzing one.

Although off the back of Circus, it will be more like Blackout, which is one of my favorite albums of hers.

What I DO find upsetting though, is two things.

One; The far from stella Little Monsters, who will bash anything that comes into competition with their “mother monster” and their ability to call someone a legend when she hasn’t even done anything!

Two; Britneys’ lack of promotion. Although in her new V magazine interview she talks about becoming guarded. you get the feeling that she doesn’t want to promote, she just wants to make the music.

She may be heading down the path that Madonna has taken and other legendary artists. Where they promote the hell out of something just before it comes out, and make a couple of videos and then that’s it.

    Quiet again.

Although I do hear rumours of a new tour.

After all she has been doing this since before she was 8 years old.
