Cary Grant & those gay rumours
Cary Grant’s daughter has written about her father’s rumoured homosexuality in a new memoir.
Jennifer, the Hollywood icon’s only child, admits the actor was intrigued by the persistent gay rumours in Good Stuff: A Reminiscence of My Father, Cary Grant.
In the book, she writes “[I] can’t blame men for wanting him, and wouldn’t be surprised if Dad even mildly flirted back.
“Dad somewhat enjoyed being called gay. He said it made women want to prove the assertion wrong.”
Jennifer also talks about her father’s marriage to Dyan Cannon in the book as well as his spending habits.
