Downey Jr dons drag for sequel
Robert Downey Jr is back in the role of Sherlock Holmes for director Guy Ritchie’s return to the franchise, Game of Shadows.
Out later this year, the trailer (below), released yesterday, features Downey Jr in drag for the role during an undercover sequence alongside co-star Jude Law. The preview suggests all the homoerotic banter we came to love in the first film will be back too.
The Iron Man also looks to be in top shape for the action-based vision of the famous detective.
The sequel to the well-received original 2009 adaptation will feature Holmes’ legendary nemesis, Professor Moriarty (played by Mad Men star, Jared Harris).
